Basic First Aid for Schools
Description:
The duration of this course is 8 hours (7x 1 hour lessons and 1x 1 hour exam. Lessons consists of 50% theory and 50% practical).
This course contains the following modules:
- Principals of First Aid Safety
- Legal and Ethics of First Aid
- Emergency Scene Management
- Shock, Unconsciousness and Fainting
- Cardiovascular Emergencies
- One Rescuer CPR (Adult)
- Choking (Adult)
- Wounds and Bleeding
- Fractures
Practical componenets are assessed continuously throughout the course.
A written Exam will be undertaken on the last session of the course to assess the theory component.
Minimum of 15 and maximum 30 learners per class.
Your Certificate will be valid for 2 years
